The holiday season is in full swing, and our host, Kier Gomes, is going to revisit one of the all-time greatest Christmas movies of all time – Gremlins – directed by Joe Dante. In this live stream, Kier’s going to examine how our furry hero, Gizmo the Mogwai, is an eighties icon and how the movie has some of the most arresting imagery of the era, with the FX and gore so intense they helped lead to the creation of the PG-13 rating. And, of course, Kier will also dig into the movie’s notoriously dark and depressing Christmas tale, as told by Phoebe Cates, which is the stuff of nightmares. Plus – we’ll be doing a special Gremlins-themed holiday GIVEAWAY, so tune in!
